Today I have asked Wendy of Wendy Harrop Events who not only was the designer and planner on this gorgeous wedding but also one of the bridesmaids in Jennifer and Judd's wedding. Talk about taking on multiple roles, and she did it with such grace and ease. I hope that you no only enjoy the images but hearing about the perspective of the designer and bridesmaid. Enjoy! xoxo, Stacey
"What a dream come true to be able to plan this wedding! The bride and I have been close friends for 15 years and I often refer to her as my right arm; what an absolute honor to carry my clipboard and a bridesmaid bouquet...... Jennifer's wedding style is best described as "classic with a touch of whimsy" with a color scheme of charcoal grey & orange with navy blue accents. A great lover of all things paper, the bride chose unique, but complimentary invitations for every wedding related event from "Will you be my Bridesmaid?" to the day-after brunch which allowed her to introduce and reinforce the theme to each recipient. The blend of color and patterns were incorporated brilliantly by Amy Burke Designs through florals, linens, lamps and trees. Arlene Freeman with Studio Cake continued the goodness with a cake that was not only divine but delicious! Hello, banana cake with peanut butter, salted caramel buttercream!! We dreamed about that cake from the tasting until the reception - yum!......The venue, Building One on Treasure Island was the perfect canvas for these artists to showcase their gifts. Once the administration building of the Naval base, this art deco building boasts 60' ceilings and the most amazing view of the San Francisco skyline. Since Judd is a Naval Commander this was the perfect place for them to tie the knot. Wine Valley Catering is the exclusive vendor for Building One and they provided excellent service and delicious food for the 200 guests. The day could not have been more perfect - the bride and groom enamored, friends and family joyful, and the weather glorious."
