I have so MUCH I want to blog--among other things: Halloween parties, photo sessions, Giants World Series, blah, blah blah!  But not enough time.  So since I haven't blogged some personal pics in awhile I found 2 this week that I love of my boys. One of Max at a Halloween party in his Darth Maul costume that he has been wearing ALL week long and the boys at the pumpkin patch sitting on the tracker trailer.

Happy Halloween everyone and GO Giants!!!!

I am off to another shoot! :)

Child Lifestyle Photos: Halloween, Walnut Creek, CA (Saturday, October 31, 2009)

What a fantastic Halloween!  We started our day carving pumpkins or in Max's case, coloring pumpkins. Charlie was also busy testing his new blaster for Halloween. Speaking of blaster, I have to tell you a quick cute story of my 4-year-old since it does relate to the pics. You see, we were going to surprise Charlie with a new Star Wars Clone Trooper Blaster for Halloween. He has been begging for one ever since he decided to be Captain Rex from Star Wars. (I have no idea who he is. Charlie says he is in Episode I.) Anywho...I hid the blaster under the coffee table in the living room which we never use.  And of course, my very observant son spotted it after his "nap" (i.e. quiet time) and said, "Oh my goodness!!! The Great Pumpkin left me a blaster for Halloween!!!"  My little Charlie has probably seen "The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" one too many times and now thinks there is a Great Pumpkin who brings toys to all the good boys and girls on Halloween.  I didn't have the heart to tell him the truth. Until next year! :)

As for Halloween night, the weather, company, food, drink and candy couldn't have been more perfect. We had 2 other families over including: 1 Anakin Skywalker, 1 Captain Rex, 1 Obi-Wan Kenobi, 1 Batgirl, 1 Batman, and 1 Spider-Man. We stocked our bellies with carbs (i.e. spaghetti and meatballs) before our trek out to trick or treat land. 6 kids all 5-years-old and under made for quite an adventure.  Batman lead the charge chanting, "More candy! More candy!" There was one melt down a la Max at the scarey house at the end of the block. I think he prefers to watch from afar.  We polished off the night with yummy Haunted House cake and candy (of course), and washed it all down with warm apple cider.

Child and Family Lifestyle Photos: 4th Annual Pumpkin Patch Trip, Pleasant Hill, CA (Sunday, October 11, 2009)

I can't believe we have been coming to this Pumpkin Patch for 4 years now with the "E" family. WOW, time flies!  I guess, we can now officially call it our "Annual Pumpkin Patch Tradition." We had a blast watching the kids, Marcelle (5), Charlie (4), Max (2), and Cameron (23 months) chasing around the patch.  The daddies took the kids on wheel barrel rides and runs and screams through the corn maze while the mommies clicked away with their cameras. There was even a "hay" ride pulled by a a tractor despite the fact that there was no hay.  All in all, we even managed to pick out some nice pumpkins and get some great pics. (OK. I got a little bit carried away with the pics. :) Thanks guys for another memorable day!
