I am a busy little bee this rainy day in May. I've got my cup of warm tea and my Pandora playing in the background proofing my pics.
Here are some pics from our recent family vacation in Newport Beach with Papa, Grandma, Auntie and cousins. We swam, golfed, hiked, played and shopped. :)
What a great and happy way to spend New Years week with great friends and great fun! We spent the time skiing, sledding, dancing, singing, eating, hot tubbing, laughing, BBQing, watching movies, playing Star Wars to name a few. Thanks "B" family! We had an incredible time! :) Here are some pics of the week.
One of the highlights of our Labor Day Weekend was our fabulous visit with my cousin Dave's family in Newport Beach, CA. Dave and his beautiful and super cool wife, Brooke, have 3 kids: Boden (4-years-old), Anna (2-years-old), and Hudson (7 months). My Aunt Barb (Dave's mom) also joined in the fun. They took us to one of their favorite beaches in Laguna. We spent most of our time laughing whether it was from watching the younger cousins wrestle in the surf, eating sand, or riding the waves. After chowing down on some awesome carnitas at a local stand, we watched the sunset over the ocean. Great day, Cuz! :)
We spent an extended Labor Day weekend with family and friends in southern California. One of the days we spent in Oxnard with Papa and Grandma, hanging out at the beach, reading books, riding bikes, enjoying the sun and beautiful sunset. Here are some pics. We just returned from LA after a fabulous visit with the grandparents, Papa and Grandma. We had a load of fun returning to some our own childhood haunts including Travel Town and Griffith Observatory at Griffith Park, and Clearman's North Woods Inn restaurant in Los Angeles. Picnik (www.picnik.com), a photo editing website that I like to use, has launched a new, very simple and easy to use slide show feature that I can embed into my photo blog. I decided to try it out. I put my pics together from Tahoe to present in a slide show. This can be a fun new way to present pics! :)
We had a fabulous time with the Benkels in Tahoe Donner from playing at the lake to swimming at the pool. Here are some (or should I say many) of my favorite pics.
