You would never believe that this wedding was photographed in a matter of one day with all of the locations, wardrobe changes and activities that were planned. I am pretty proud of the bride and groom and how they pulled off such an elegant, modern, chic affair--from getting ready at the Inn at the Presidio to the ceremony at Mission Dolores to wedding party photos in San Francisco's Financial District to the reception at the Palm Event Center in Pleasanton. How did it get all done? It couldn't have gotten done without the talented team of Dreams on a Dime lead by the fabulous Cierra Lockwood. The florals, the decor, the linens, the cake, the wedding dresses (yes wedding dresses), the red bottom shoes, all just lovely. But the most beautiful moments weren't the decor or wardrobe but the moments where Aldo would admire his bride, kiss her hand or ice the boo boo on his wife's knee.--a true knight to Jessica's princess. Candice and Ben's Napa, vintage-glam wedding was nothing less then visually perfect from the high-end linens to the florals designed by Soulflower Design Studio. And Meadowood was the perfect setting for their Napa wedding. With the talented team from Amber Events as their planners, Candice and Ben's vision was that--a vision of perfection. Speaking of visions, Candice was a vision in her designer Alvina Valenta gown and Jimmy Choo's with hair and make-up stylized and created by Danika Lam. However, the true beauty of the day lies beyond the details: the proud and joyful smiles from the mother-of the bride as she helped her daughter get ready; in the stolen glances of love and admiration by Ben of Candice; in the joy, love and humor of the day (Note: if you could have seen and heard Ben's toast which was more like a self roasting, you would have seen and felt the true joy and happiness of the day). To honor Julia's mom who passed away, Julia and Matt chose to have their wedding day on Mother's Day.
